Reports say Chiefs expected to sign safety Tyrann Mathieu

A Pro Bowler and first-team All-Pro selection in 2015, Mathieu signed a one-year deal with the Houston Texans last season and racked up 89 tackles, eight pass deflections, three sacks and two interceptions.

The New Orleans native previously played five years for the Arizona Cardinals. The Houston Texans wanted to keep Mathieu and have offered him around $10 million per year, but he's getting more from KC.
