That run ended yesterday when Woods announced he would not take part in this weekend's 2019 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

"Unfortunately due to a neck strain that I've had for a few weeks, I'm forced to withdraw from the API", Woods tweeted.

"I saw him in Mexico getting treatment before and after he played; he did have some tape on his upper back".

House Democrats announce broad probe into allegations of obstruction of justice
Trump dismissed the Nadler probe and others as futile efforts "in search of a crime". The person declined to be named to discuss the committee's internal process.

Woods added that he would send his regrets for missing one of his favorite tournaments, at Bay Hill Club & Lodge, to Palmer's family.

His three-putt at the next, where he missed a five-footer, was not quite as dramatic but hardly less disappointing for one of the greatest talents to have played the game.

Woods has played three times this year, with his best finish a tie for 10th in Mexico City.

Adam Hadwin, Corey Conners and Roger Sloan are at Bay Hill for the second stop in the PGA Tour's Florida swing. Fan favorite Rickie Fowler, 2018 runner-up Bryson DeChambeau and 2017 victor Jason Day are other big names scheduled to play this week.

I've got every faith if we defend well and if we create the chances that I know we can do, we can win the game. "But what for me is the most important thing is next time we have a penalty he goes again".

While the injury does appear to be anything serious it could garner more attention if he finds himself unable to tee it up at TPC Sawgrass next week for the PGA Tour's flagship event, which is widely regarded as the unofficial fifth major. He did make sure to note that his injury is not considered long-term.
