Frozen cat found buried in snow thawed by animal clinic

It took seven hours, but eventually, doctors were able to bring Fluffy's body temperature back to normal.

But her body temperature was below what the clinic's thermometers could read - 90 degrees.

The couple had found Fluffy outside, and started to feed her and bring her into the clinic for check ups. Not quite sure if she's made a deal with the cat devil here or had a few lives to burn, but I'm impressed.

Once she was thawed, the veterinarians discovered that the cat had suffered from an injury that prevented her from getting back to the house.

Clark and his associate, Dr. China Corum, used heating pads and heated cages to help stimulate Fluffy. However, her temperature remained very low. Typically, cats have temperatures around 101 degrees.

"We immediately began to warm her up", Dutter said. At her follow-up appointment this past Tuesday, Fluffy was rechecked and cleared with a clean bill of health.

"Fluffy is wonderful", the post said. "The one thing we can keep saying is that Fluffy is unbelievable!"
