Scotland's weather: Travel disruption warning from new snow alerts

Much of the rest of the United Kingdom can also expect freezing temperatures, with a yellow warning for both snow and ice in effect until noon tomorrow.

The south west of England was worst affected, but parts of Cumbria in the north west have seen 8cm of snow, while there was 7cm recorded in Inverness-shire, Scotland and 5cm in Powys, Wales.
