Video footage from the concert shows Gaga helping Cooper get ready to sing, giving him a kiss on the cheek before he sat down.

Another person who was in the audience wrote on Twitter: "I think I just had a heart attack" before posting a picture of Cooper, Gaga and the other performers taking a bow.

At that, Cooper left his seat in the crowd to join the star at her piano.
