The Accidental Prime Minister trailer has been out!

Mumbai: The Congress party's Maharashtra youth wing has raised objections to Anupam Kher-starrer The Accidental Prime Minister, the trailer of which was released on Thursday, December 27. Was Dr Singh just a regent who was holding on to the PM's chair till the time heir was ready?

Randeep Surjewala, a Congress spokesperson, called the trailer "fake propaganda". He was quoted by news agency ANI, "Can't we extend our wishes for a film?"

No signs of a deal to end partial government shutdown

However defending the tweet, Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore questioned the Congress's stance on freedom.

While reporter presented his mic to ask a question, as Dr. Singh came out of the auto, he immediately got ready to answer the questions but as soon as the reporter had put forward his comment, "What do you think about the film made about you, ?"

The Accidental Prime Minister, based on the decade that former Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh spent in office, might not get a release in Madhya Pradesh, say reports. Akshaye Khanna plays the character of Baru in the film and he is also the narrator.

In a letter written to the producers of the movie, Maharashtra Youth Congress president Satyajeet Tambe Patil told them that if they did not submit the movie for pre-screening, they had "other options" to stop the airing of the movie across India and for which the producers would be responsible.

"I thought it will be a political film and I didn't know what will be there in the film". The Accidental Prime Minister will hit cinemas on January 11.
