First lady calls opioids 'worst drug crisis' in U.S. history

A video released by Trump through Twitter on November 26 shows the First Lady walking through the newly decorated White House. The First Lady said that she told him it is important to treat people with "respect and kindness" while on social media.

"We are in the 21st Century and everybody has a different taste", Trump explained.

Vice said that "Melania Trump's Christmas from Hell" pays "tribute to our country's unique heritage of anguish and pain".

Melania is no stranger to backlash over her taste in holiday decor.

But at a town hall Wednesday at Liberty University, the first lady made clear that all the negativity about the decorations - typically a political no-go zone - did not bother her.

Fitting this year's decor theme "American Treasures", the one-minute video shows Trump clad in all-black strolling through an ominous sea of pointed, blood-red cone-shaped trees, touching various ornaments displaying miniature US landmarks, and looking at blue-and-gold trees.

Bolling applauded the first lady for the "empathy and compassion" she has toward the issue of the opioid crisis.

"I teach him what is right, what is wrong, and I will always tell him that drugs, they could be very risky and they could mess up your mind and body", Trump said.
