The reports, from the Jackson Free Press, an independent newspaper in MS, and CNN, are the latest to bring up Mississippi's racist history ahead of a tense runoff election between Hyde-Smith and Democrat Mike Espy, who is vying to become the state's first African-American in the Senate since the Reconstruction.

"I have met with the president, and I proudly support him in negotiating these trades", she said.

Hyde-Smith is set for a runoff election against Democrat Mike Espy on Tuesday to serve the remaining two years of the term of longtime Republican Sen.

In addition to her controversial comments, Hyde-Smith has also faced other accusations of racism as events from her past have surfaced in recent days. She also served for eight years in the MS state Senate, where she was chair of the Agriculture Committee. Like a lot of PACs that are more business-oriented than pet cause oriented, it tends to spread its money around to both Republican and Democratic candidates, with the level of its donations to each party varying with the political winds.

Mueller: Manafort has lied to Federal Bureau of Investigation , special counsel's office since plea deal
The latest development could indicate a set back for Mueller's investigation if Manafort had not been cooperating. Trump denies any campaign collusion and calls the investigation a political witch hunt.

"Cindy Hyde-Smith will support President Trump's agenda, and President Trump's agenda includes a better America for all of us, every state, including MS", said Virginia Olander from Bay St. Louis.

It's a contest that has been buffeted by racial tensions after Hyde-Smith's public hanging comments. Thad Cochran. He resigned in April amid health concerns.

Tuesday's victor will finish the final two years of the term begun by Republican Sen.

Hyde-Smith campaign spokeswoman Melissa Scallan responded to the report by saying: "In their latest attempt to help Mike Espy, the gotcha liberal media has taken leave of their senses".

General Motors to phase down operations in Oshawa
GM said it would shut operations at plants in Detroit; Oshawa, Ontario; Warren, Ohio; White Marsh, Maryland; and Warren, Michigan. Senators Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman have lobbied GM CEO Mary Barra to bring a new product to the Lordstown plant.

"We've done great, and now we're going to do a little bit better by adding an extra vote", Trump said.

Former Vice President Joe Biden endorsed Espy, and three Democrats who could run for president in 2020 - Sens. Kamala Harris of California and Cory Booker of New Jersey and former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick - have been to MS to campaign for the former congressman who served as agriculture secretary in 1993 and 1994 under Democratic President Bill Clinton. Her campaign said the remark about voting was a joke.

For Espy, turnout is key. "That means that MS over party, MS over person - I don't care how powerful that person might be".

Espy is seeking an upset victory in a deep red state after Democrat Doug Jones edged Republican Roy Moore in a December 2017 special election to fill former Attorney General Jeff Sessions' Alabama Senate seat. She has since apologized, but has lost support from several corporations, including Walmart. Trump said she made it somewhat "in jest" and that she felt bad about it.

When Willian is presented with a good opportunity to score a goal or put a teammate through on goal, he often tends to waste it. UNITED star Anthony Martial may have scored a penalty against Manchester City but he failed to step up when it mattered.

About 100 anti-Trump protesters were also there, chanting "Impeach 45" as they held signs with red strikes through Hyde-Smith's name. The league "has requested that the contribution be returned", the spokesperson said.
