Dashboard camera footage from another vehicle nearby, released earlier, had shown the bus charge onto the wrong side of the road without warning before hitting the railings of the Wanzhou Yangtze No. 2 Bridge and plunging into the river.

Rescuers on Wednesday night pulled the bus from the river.

Based on the black box recording device from the bus and other evidence, a female passenger surnamed Liu, 48, missed her stop and asked the driver surnamed Ran, 43, to stop immediately, Chongqing police said on Friday morning (Nov 2).

Buses in China often have surveillance cameras.

But he became the first of four victims for Jadeja and the left-armer returned to mop up the tail, finishing with figures of 4-34. It was his second four-wicket haul in eight matches since his comeback to the ODI team during the Asia Cup in September.

Due to the loss of control of the bus, which was travelling on a bridge in China, the bus swerved widely and hit a auto before crashing through the bridge railing and plunging around 160 feet (that's just just 20 feet shorter than the recently-inaugurated Statue of Unity, by the way) into the river.

The shocking video shows the argument between the pair escalating, with Liu hitting Ran across the face with her phone.

"Fifteen lives were lost in an instant - the lessons from this are very painful", police said as cited by Channel News Asia.

The statement concluded that both the passenger and the driver had broken laws for seriously endangering public safety. The driver turned his head back several times arguing.

The driver then took his right arm off the steering wheel as he tried to defend himself.

The driver of the auto which was hit by the bus was also injured.

Originally, witnesses reported seeing the bus swerve to avoid another vehicle but distressing new footage has emerged showing the real cause of the accident: a fist fight between an irate passenger and the driver.

Four passengers, who got off earlier, confirmed that a medium-height woman had quarrelled with the driver because she missed her stop, local police said. Authorities are still looking for the remaining two.
