Apple to unveil new iPad Pro, MacBook Air this week

We reported earlier that the new iPad Pro will come with a new design, the rumour is now confirmed, thanks to the iOS code.

The screen size change, however, doesn't come at the cost of a larger device overall. That will leave the iPhone as the only high profile Apple device to use the Lightning connector.

It's unclear if Face ID will only work in portrait or landscape mode, or if Apple has figured out a way for it to identify faces in either orientation. Instead of TouchID, the new iPad Pro will use FaceID to log you in by simply looking at the screen. Apple tipster and former KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has previously claimed that Apple will be refreshing the 12.9-inch iPad Pro and the 10.5-inch model as well.

Angela Merkel to step down as German chancellor in 2021
That result would allow the current state government of the CDU and Greens to continue, albeit with a thinner majority. But the CDU and ecologist Greens may lack sufficient support to renew their ruling alliance in the state.

The invitation to the media features artistic and colourful Apple logo with a message-"There's more in the making"- and going by the unique presentation, many are of the opinion that the company will unveil the new line of the iPad Pro and also possibly Macbook series too. This will see the Cupertino-based company launch the iPad Pro (2018), as well as a new range of MacBooks as well as the new AirPods 2, the successor to its bud-shaped wireless earphones.

The iPad Pro is the best tablet you can buy right now but it's also very expensive.

The USB-C port would allow for faster charging and output of up to 4K when the iPad is connected to another monitor.

Four dead in Gaza protests with Israeli military
Five Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli fire in separate incidents along the border fence, the Gaza health ministry said. Hamas has demanded a full lifting of the blockade, which has made it increasingly hard for Hamas to govern.

It nearly seems like Apple has forgotten about the iPad Mini, or is happy to let the product die as it pushes the iPad towards being a more powerful computer replacement.

Apple is also expected to announce a Mac Mini that's built with pro users in mind. We're also expecting Apple to introduce new features that will appeal to software developers and creative professionals, like external monitor support. They also just started selling an Apple Watch charging cable with USB-C on the other end rather than USB-A, so it makes sense. The new Mac Mini will likely receive updates to its processor, storage, ports, and maybe even the housing. In some ways it's freaky that Apple hasn't thought to upgrade it in so long, but there's not much that needs changing in the way of the design - it's the internals that are going to get a bump if an upgrade is coming. As usual, there'll be a live stream available on the Apple website.

But the new MacBook Air is probably a more awaited product.
