Mail-in ballots were sent to active voters earlier this month and the overwhelming majority of Colorado voters use them. Unsurprisingly, the election agency reporting the largest number of early voters comes from the state's largest city.

The Powerball jackpot for the Saturday, Oct. 27, drawing is $750 million. Earl Livingston, 87, left home to buy a ticket for the historic $1.6 billion jackpot but on his way to the store, he slipped and fell.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball is 1 in 292 million. Those tickets were sold in Arizona, Florida, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Wisconsin. The second-largest ever is this past week's Mega Millions and the third-largest is a $758 million Powerball from August 2017. In Michigan, there were 140,897 winners. Deadline is 7:08 p.m. that day.
