For the second time in franchise history, the Cleveland Cavaliers are facing life without LeBron James after he bolted in free agency and signed with the Los Angeles Lakers.

A 40-point third quarter helped it erase a 16-point halftime deficit. Griffin and Drummond each tallied 26 points to lead all scorers.

"I know he's going to be out today", coach Tyronn Lue said before the game.

Love was one of three Cleveland players to score a team-high 14 points. After going 0 of 11 from long range before halftime, Boston canned 11 of 20 3-point attempts in the second half of a 101-95 victory.

"Just by moving the basketball, we went from getting good shots to great shots", Harris said.
