Supersub Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made Premier League history as Arsenal beat Fulham 5-1 away in the Premier League on Saturday, and has lauded the Gunners' mentality after their win.

The Gunners produced some wonderful football for the thumping victory.

Arsenal extended their winning run to nine games on the spin against the Premier League new boys, with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both netting a brace either side of a cute Aaron Ramsey finish.

"It was an important goal for Aaron and an important goal for us", said manager Unai Emery with more than a touch of understatement.

That left Seoul lobbying hard for a second summit between Trump and Kim to keep alive a positive atmosphere for nuclear diplomacy. Ironically, such a settlement can succeed only if the Trump administration's North Korea policy keeps failing.

On his potent strike-force, Emery added: "It is one process, to know better after training, after every match, after every decision, how we are better on the pitch, between the players, in our tactical system and impose our timing on the pitch in possession with the ball". When we're winning now we need to be the same way in our mentality: calm, hard-working, enjoying working, failing together, sharing a feeling with our supporters. "Whether that was the atmosphere that they wanted Arsene Wenger out, the fans, it was quite hostile playing in front of that".

"We are happy but also calm because we know each match is hard".

Usually I don't like to look back. The London gunners last lost a match in August 2018 against rivals Chelsea.

Every global break is important also for the national team, for the players who want to join up with their team and defend their team, and for us to continue working with more calm.

In Monday's division tiebreaker against the Cubs , however, Hader made his case to close a few more games out for Milwaukee. With the win, Milwaukee gets a few days off before they play Thursday at home against the victor of the NL Wild Card Game.

It seemed unlikely after their back-to-back losses to City and Chelsea at the start of the season, but Arsenal are now only a point behind the champions and Liverpool, who meet at Anfield later on Sunday.

They caused the Gunners problems in the first half but Arsenal unlocked them nearly at will in the second period. "We opened all the doors and they finished easily", Jokanovic said.

'We're showing so many weaknesses for the level we are at at the moment, defensively.
