Sony is launching a new mini console, the PlayStation Classic, a quarter century after the original on which it is modelled. Late Tuesday evening, Sony officially announced that it would introduce its own old-school console offering, the PlayStation Classic.

The PlayStation Classic is Sony's attempt to tap into PlayStation player's nostalgia by bringing 20 must-play PS One games back to your TV.

PlayStation One Classic is nearly half the size of Sony's original 1994 console, making it small enough to hold in one hand. Like the NES mini, this diminutive device comes with 20 pre-installed titles.
