Kieran Trippier's stunning World Cup for England has put Europe's elite on alert.

Upon his arrival in the Spanish capital the 32 year-old will meet with club president Perez and is expected to confirm his desire to leave Los Blancos, thus opening the door for Inter to initiate talks with the European champions and pursue a deal to bring Modric to Italy.

The midfielder returned from his World Cup holiday on Monday and is now training with Real Madrid's youth team.

It is thought that a significant chunk of Cristiano Ronaldo's €30m-a-year Juventus salary will be earned through sponsorships with FCA, the company controlled by Juventus' owners the Agnelli family.

Israel stops activist vessel, detains passengers; Gaza teen dies from Israeli fire
The Hamas website Safa said Friday this marks the first time all members of the political bureau have come together in Gaza. The vessel was taken to the Israeli port of Ashdod, while the crew were detained for "further enquiry".

But, shock reports emerged linking Modric with a move away from Spain.

Madrid are keen to sign the Belgium global, who has failed to return for pre-season training at Chelsea amid the speculation surrounding his future.

That significant increase is said to be very tempting for Modric, but he has not made up his mind just yet.

The rumour states that Real Madrid have only identified Pjanic as a replacement for Modric if he departs from the Bernabeu.

Saudi's July oil output at around 10.290 mln bpd - OPEC sources
Fears that Chinese demand could taper fuelled the pullback on Friday after state oil major Sinopec cut its purchases of USA crude. In the previous week, total USA inventories rose 3.8 million barrels, while supplies at Cushing fell 1.3 million barrels.

All they have to do is give Modric a significant pay-rise and ensure he stays at Real Madrid beyond this summer.

It appears as if everything is doom and gloom at Real Madrid this summer.

He'll surely be worth keeping at the club given his performances for both club and country last season.

However, Corriere dello Sport claims that Suning has offered to sponsor the deal by paying a percentage of Modric's wages which would allow Inter to complete the move without breaking any rules.

Marcus Rashford handed the Man Utd No.10 shirt against Bayern
Since the 20-year-old burst onto the scene in 2015, he has become one of the most highly-rated young players in the world. On a day when runaway champions Manchester City dismantled Chelsea at Wembley, it was not a good sign.

Modric's star rose to new heights this summer in Russian Federation as he helped lead Croatia to the tournament final, where they ultimately fell 4-2 to France. Have your say by leaving a comment below.
