Last night, ace off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin bowled a magical delivery to again get the priced scalp of seasoned opener Alastair Cook, leaving England at 9-1 at stumps.

His nemesis on the previous tour, James Anderson, tested him to the hilt but this time Kohli came out on top.

It was not an easy start for Kohli.

18- Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan looked promising and not only kept the England bowlers at bay but also got off the blocks rapidly and when they put together 50 runs for the first wicket, it came after 18 innings after Abhinav Mukund and Gautam Gambhir put on 63 in the first innings at Lord's in July 2011.
