Russian, US top diplomats discuss preparations for Putin-Trump summit in Helsinki

Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov told a delegation of USA lawmakers he hoped their visit to Moscow would help restore relations between the two legislatures, Interfax news agency reported. However, he took issue with President Trump's statement that he planned to discuss Crimea with President Putin there. Another summit is due on July 16th in Helsinki still aimed at world peace.

Peskov said that President Putin "and Russian Federation are open for dialogue and jointly searching for compromises", TASS reported.
