Instead of honoring the first-time Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, Trump disinvited the team and transformed the event into a broader celebration of patriotism.

The first lady addressed the issue on Twitter last week, saying: "I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I'm doing".

"The president decided, the number he focused on is the number of Eagles fans who had already been waived in and secured here to come to the White House".

Mrs. Trump did not speak at Wednesday's meeting.

To be fair, nobody crowded around Qualls' locker - he's a reserve defensive tackle jostling for a roster spot.

Curiosity Rover Discovers Ancient 'Building Blocks for Life' on Mars
" Curiosity has not determined the source of the organic molecules ", says Jen Eigenbrode of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. She said the discoveries break down some of the strongest arguments put forward by life-on-Mars skeptics, herself included.

He isn't the only Eagles player to blast the White House's statement.

There was at least one common theme - a united front.

"I think the President has made it pretty clear he's going to try to divide us, all of us in this country, for political gain", said Golden State coach Steve Kerr, who has often criticized Trump and his policies. "I think his knee gave out from the tonnage it's holding".

The image fraudulently implied that the players had taken a knee during the anthem last season - an act that players on other National Football League teams have said is meant to protest police violence and racial inequality. Trump tied the dispute to his criticism of players who have kneeled during the national anthem, even though no Eagles players kneeled for the song during the 2017 season. "The people love you ... thank you, honey".

He also said, "What you've seen and what you've heard is enough".

ZTE to reopen after $1 billion fine, new leadership
This compromise would allow the company to once again use US -made components in their products-although at a large cost. ZTE's survival has been a topic of discussion in high-level US-China trade talks.

"I was looking forward to it. Listen, you win a world championship or an NCAA title or anything, you want to be recognized that way", Pederson said, when asked if teams should just stop going to the White House altogether.

Several Eagles player's decisions not to attend the scheduled celebration before the official cancellation were in response to Trump's insistence that NFL players stand during the national anthem before games.

The NFL Players Association, the union that represents the NFL players, disagreed with the White House's decision.

Malcolm Jenkins who peacefully demonstrated on the sidelines last season let his signs do the talking today, never uttering a word, but held signs that read, "You're not listening", followed by specific statistics linked to mass incarceration, police brutality and calls for criminal justice reform. There are a lot of people that believe that he's not for the people or doing things that's right by the people.
