Rose McGowan's three word response to Harvey Weinstein's arrest

Actress and director Asia Argento, who said Weinstein raped her at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival, tweeted simply: "What took you so long Harvey?"

Lawyers did not identify the woman involved in the rape charge. Weinstein may have wanted to have sex, but didn't assume from the get-go he would have to rape the woman.

According to Page Six, Weinstein complained that even the special cuffs were too tight after being placed in a holding cell in Manhattan court in the morning.

He appeared in court later and was charged with assaulting Lucia Evans, who told investigators he forced her to perform oral sex on him in 2004. Evans has hired noted lawyer Carrie Goldberg, who specializes in sexual violence, revenge porn, and stalking cases.

Weinstein has consistently denied any allegations of nonconsensual sex.

"We intend to move very quickly to dismiss these charges".

Weinstein was then taken to Manhattan Supreme Court and was released on $1 million bail and fitted with an ankle tag. Weinstein had earlier surrendered himself to authorities. He didn't respond to shouts of "Harvey!"

McGowan also appeared on Megyn Kelly Today on Friday morning. There is no indication as to how much each victim will receive, or how Michigan State University will allocate the funds. Many victims have said they reported Nassar's abuse to various members of the Michigan State's staff.
