Manuel Neuer in Germany's 2018 World Cup Provisional Squad, Gotze Misses out

Reinhard Grindel, the president of the DFB, confirmed the news at the announcement of Germany's World Cup squad for the Russian Federation 2018 finals and also revealed Oliver Bierhoff, the national team's director, has extended until 2024. However, the Bayern Munich goalkeeper will be monitored during the training camp, reports Xinhua news agency.

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus have been included in Germany's provisional squad for the 2018 World Cup, although Mario Gotze has missed out.

The squad and their club-side are as follows: Goalkeepers: Manuel Neuer (Bayern), Marc-André ter Stegen (Barcelona), Bernd Leno (Bayer Leverkusen), Kevin Trapp (PSG).
