Only those in India can download the app which can run on at least Android 5.0 devices. The homepage has a trending news section that refreshes every few minutes, with stories ranging from entertainment to sports (with a focus on cricket updates), and current events.

The size of the app is considerably smaller in comparison to Google Chrome (21MB), Edge (54.5MB), Firefox (19.9MB) and Opera (14.7MB).

One of the big features Amazon is trying to highlight with its browser is that it is private, claiming that it does not ask for any permissions like other browsers and does not collect private data.

Furthermore, Internet also comes with private tabs so that you don't have to worry about remembering to clear your browsing data after you are done watching some *ahem* education videos *ahem*. With the amount of incompatibility across various devices, there's a chance that Amazon might still be in beta stages for such an app, the same reason why the company opted for a silent soft launch.

If you look into the Google Play Store, you will find a plethora of web-browsers and if you don't like options you could be better off with Google's Chrome Browser.

The internet browsing experience worked without any issue with the browser opening the mobile versions of the website. Also, as the app is now only available for Indian users, the home page of the app shows cricket news, as the countrymen are huge fans of the sport and also shows general headlines. This Amazon-branded web browser offers Tab Previews, Private Browsing, and Automatic Fullscreen. The App reviews would tell about its speed after its use for some days.
