Head coach Jupp Heynckes' squad will enter this match against Sevilla on the strength of three straight wins in all competitions.

Bayern have one foot in a seventh European semi-final in nine years after earning a 2-1 away win at Sevilla in last week's first leg.

After clinching a sixth successive Bundesliga title on Saturday, Bayern Munich will look to continue its stunning run when it locks horns with Sevilla in the second leg Champions League quarterfinal encounter. They face Bayer Leverkusen next week in the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup.

Kenedy has been given regular first team opportunities by manager Rafa Benitez, and has scored two goals in eight appearances for the Magpies so far, impressing with his forays up the left flank. To put it in simpler terms, no team has overcome a 3-0 home defeat in the knockout stages.

Bayern beat the Turkish champions 8-1 on aggregate, but their progress went largely unnoticed, in the United Kingdom at least.

Real Madrid won the first leg in Turin thanks to a Ronaldo masterclass by 3-0. Robert Lewandowski was one of six regulars not to start on Saturday.

While it could potentially be a tricky night, you would fully expect Bayern to advance from this position though if Sevilla were to grab the opening goal, things could be very interesting indeed. "In the last three games, we've been unlucky".

The Old Lady can take inspiration from their rivals, AS Roma, who overcame a 4-1 loss in the first leg to win the second leg 3-0, thus eliminating La Liga heavyweights Barcelona.

"When he did not play from the beginning in Sevilla, as the media, you speculated", Heynckes said.

Die Rotten came out 2-1 victors at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan last Wednesday and are nearly certain of getting another victory here at odds of (1.25) with NairaBet which will be enough to see them qualify for the semifinals at (1.03).

When the final takes place in Kiev on May 26, Heynckes will have just turned 73 and his birthday celebrations could be extended by a remarkable second treble.

Bayern has been knocked out by a Spanish team in each of the four seasons since they last won the Champions League in 2012-13.
