Shooting Reported At San Bruno, CA Headquarters — YouTube

San Bruno Police responded to a shooting incident at YouTube headquarters located on 901 Cherry San Bruno, California, on Tuesday. While Voorhees described the shooter as male, ABC7 News sources and police said the gunman is a woman. Authorities say the women believed to be the shooter has died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. "They were all transported for emergency medical care". "She wasn't in shock", he said.

Officers say at least three victims who were injured are local hospitals in San Bruno, California.

An active shooter situation is apparently ongoing at YouTube's headquarters in San Bruno, California. The announcement followed a flurry of tweets from YouTube employees who were inside the building when it happened.

"We advised all other employees in the Bay Area, and people with meetings scheduled, to stay away from the area, and that there is no need to take any action".

San Francisco General Hospital spokesman Brent Andrew told KPIX the hospital received patients from the incident but could not confirm a number. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives also said it responded to the shooting at YouTube's suburban campus. San Bruno Police tweeted to avoid the area until further notice.

Overhead video from CNN affiliate KGO showed a heavy police presence outside the YouTube building. He said he didn't think the woman even saw the shooter.
