Peep the responses from fans who believe that The Weeknd's "Call Out My Name" record is about his breakup with Selena Gomez in the gallery below.

The mini-album is comprised of six tracks and is called 'My Dear Melancholy, ' and sees the Canadian star - real name Abel Tesfaye - in a certainly more downbeat than 'Starboy'.

The album's songs of love and loss have some convinced that Gomez, whom he dated for 10 months before they split in October, was his muse.

After The Weeknd's ex-girlfriend Gomez began spending time with her former boyfriend, Justin Bieber, in October of a year ago, he suddenly turned up at her New York City apartment and quickly sparked rumors about the two of them possibly getting back together. Apparently, he offered to be her donor.

Production credits on the project include Daft Punk's Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo (Daft Punk credits were peppered through his last album, the Grammy-winning Starboy), Skrillex, Frank Dukes (producer on countless rap gems) and longtime Weeknd collaborator DaHeala (another Starboy alum).

In addition, the 28-year-old "Starboy" crooner sings "I nearly cut a piece of myself for your life", possibly indicating he contemplated being a donor. It is suggested that "Wasted Times" finds him singing about Selena and Bella Hadid. "Wasted times I spent with someone else. She wasn't even half of you", which could be determined as a jab at Gomez. Now if the name dropping itself doesn't rush you into hitting play, then let's dive a little deeper into the work.
